After last night we should trade Brown, sell while, his value is high. ;)

1993 game 6 :)
For every game like last night there is one that goes the other way. Didn't expect to go undefeated all year. Better to get Karma against the Ducks

Despite losing as Kopi neutered Matthews when they were on the ice together does that make him a generational Selke candidate?

(Awaits outraged Leafs fans)

Almost certainly classed as PED as muscle growth is a side effect of healing. I'm sure it's ignored in the NHL as PED's are not monitored properly anyway... hence the rapid increase in the size of the players.

Really? I thought there was a certain type that athletes used to heal an injured muscle quicker.

you've probably heard of platelet-rich plasma therapy which is pretty common for injured athletes. jury's still out medically on whether it helps or not. they basically pull blood, spin it and alter the chemistry of it, then reinject it into the site of the injury to stimulate healing

he's right though that muscle growth and healing are basically analogous in the grand scheme of things. doping is really, really complex and misunderstood though

What difference does it make what peds can or cannot be used for treatment. The Kings are a professional sports orginization, I'm more than certain they know what treatment is best effective for Carter. Not some internet doctors.

I just realized it was Kozari that called that penalty on Quick. One of the most penalty happy refs in the NHL. I feel like every game he refs there's going to be at least 7 power plays total. He calls everything extremely, extremely close.

ehhhhh the USDA/FDA spent a lot of years trying to convince us that high dietary fat foods and high dietary cholesterol foods were killing us all until that science got reviewed. just because someone's in a position of authority doesn't mean they're aware of every possible avenue.

besides it's pretty naive to think a small group of employees of a single niche sports team are perfect. maybe some of the folks you refer to as "internet doctors" are actual doctors anyway.

Tough loss, but a good effort from the Kings. It's going to be a struggle without Carter.

Did you see the media frenzy?

Constant references to revenge for last year's asskicking (that I totally forgot but apparently is still a big deal), statement games, etc. Babcock whipped everyone into a frenzy and it worked but good lord. It was treated like a Lakers' playoff game.

We had a 7-0 victory? That sounds so rare as a Kings fan, no wonder most of us forgot it lol.

Of course Toronto used it as bulletin material.

For all the firebreathing, they only managed a 3-2 squeaker? Alright.

The only legal treatment I know of right now in sports is plasma injections. PED's would certainly accelerate the healing process, which is why you see athletes have these lingering injuries you didn't need to see.
