At this point if Stevens is not fired, the only reason is because AEG is still paying Sutter and they don't want 2 ex-coaches on the payroll. Either we suck, in which case we need a development coach or Stevens is not the right guy to get this team going. I feel bad, because Stevens is a nice guy and he did a lot for the franchise, but this can't continue.

That would be even worse. This same core is three coaches deep now.

Frankly, they all need to be scattered to the wind. Not sure anyone will take Kopitar or Brown, but we can still get a pile of assets for Doughty. He’s signed long term now. What’s his NMC situation? Send him to Toronto for Nylander+ so he can be surrounded by other soyboys.
