Kempe needs to be one of our scorers. It's what we need the most from him. We have other guys for PK and defensive-minded play. Kempe is supposed to be one of our killers. He was for a large part of the season. He's in a slump, a big one. A game on the bench to refocus isn't an outlandish idea.

i'd almost rather they sometimes just pass it up to the point and hammer it off the cycle rather than always forcing this pass to the high man in the slot

Please. First, stop with the condescending tone. Or don't, but I'm asking politely.

I know there's more to the game than scoring, as Kings fans, we all should... but Kempe's game is predicated a ton on scoring. We need him to pot goals for us. He isn't. No one here is saying he isn't forechecking or playing a decent 200ft game. But his scoring is gone, and his puck handling seems to be too rushed. Like I said, he'll be fine. I tend to agree with Bandit and the others that have chimed in, tho, he could use a game or two as a spectator.
