Great win vs a powerful team. After that game, I can tell the cup will soon be ours.

Those games in hand other teams have :|

Doesn't really matter, with the remaining schedules for each team it will almost feel like a round robin format -

We play - ARI ANA COL MIN DAL
Ducks play - VAN LAK COL MIN DAL ARI
Avs play - PHI CHI ANA LAK SJS STL
Blues play - SJS VGK ARI WSH CHI CHI COL
Wild play - NSH DAL DAL ARI ANA LAK SJS

Every team is looking at their schedule and thinking they just need to win, everyone controls their own destiny, nobody needs other teams to lose.

Watching Jim Hill stumble his way through Kings highlights again, the question came to me...Wig or no Wig?

I say wig.

To be fair, Forbort has been playing better recently. Ignoring a few turnovers in our end ;)

I agree, however tonight he was a disaster. I think he would make a solid bottom pairing guy with time on the pk where he doesn't have to think about outlet passes.

One thing I ll say, there should be a rule preventing Doughty to take slappers from the point; he cant shoot to save his life, he is killing our PP with this.

true but no thanks to DD slappers, I think The Dion should play first PP unit; we are underusing his shoot

His slapper did cause the rebound for brown that led to Carter's goal though. I 1000 percent agree with you, hopefully dion is showing drew how to do it. I would use doughty and Dion on the first unit personally.

A loss tonight would have been crippling. Yes it was maybe the worst lineup they've seen all year but they took care of business and got some help from Vegas. I would assume Muzzin had a separated shoulder, which would likely knock him out until the playoffs. Hoping it's good news but it didn't look good.

Guesses for rest of the way. Minnesota is close to being in the safe territory but they are terrible on the road and they play 5 of 7 on the road, with 4 of those vs. teams in the playoff or in the hunt.

Blues would win in a tiebreaker because they'd have 43 ROW's vs. the Avs 42. My predictions would have their game be meaningless but there is a really good chance that the Blues-Avs game to end the season could be basically a play in game.

This race is going to be so insane, a lot is going to depend on how many 3 point games there are when these teams all play each other.

I take great satisfaction in the fact that Calgary has no 1st or 2nd round pick this year. No matter how much they lose, they gain nothing out of it.

They gave up an uprotected 1st and two 2nd's for Travis Hamonic. Terrible trade.

Disagree, Harmonic is a proven commodity, and I don't think anyone expected them to be this bad, I think everyone thought they would contend for 5-8 for the playoffs, and you make that deal every day for a D like Harmonic.

I would tend to agree with you. You make that trade any day of the week and twice on Sunday. He is a quality defenseman.
