that was a really good game but i can't sit here and not be mad about giving up 2 points to a team that isn't anywhere near the playoff race

Yep, a good game is a good game regardless of the result.

The problem with this fan base is they give zero credit to opposing teams, and think this game is easy as playing it on play station

If they are going to miss the playoffs for the 3rd time in 4 years (which is very possible) with Kopitar having a season like this you just have to come to the realization that there is something really wrong and act accordingly.

Pretty much.

5 of 8 points on a tough-ass road trip is pretty good. If we would have just outright lost to Winnipeg we'd probably be ok with that. But to get 5 of 6 in Minnesota back to back with Winnipeg then 3 in 4 in colorado then come here on 4 in 6 to lose is awful.

They looked gassed, but gotta find the reserves when the season is on the line.

Agreed, outcome wasn't optimum, but no game is easy, they played a good game, and the best player in the game beat them, it happens

Having Carter for those 55 games would EASILY be worth 3 more wins. And that is being VERY conservative. If you want to ignore that well, go ahead.
