Many of us wrote him off following last season as far as ever being an elite player again. (myself included)

I guess one of the advantages of no longer being a person who watches every single game like I used to I still believe in the core of Kopitar, Doughty, Brown, Quick, etc. I had a feeling that a rested Brown would bounce back (albeit not close to this level), I though Doughty still had offensive upside. Kopitar I thought could get back to his old level but I didn't see his first ppg year coming at 30 years old.

Can't wait to see how this goes. I think the Kings can take the Sharks in the first round and easily dispose of the Knights in the 2nd. If the Kings can maintain #3 seed I can't wait for playoffs. We might be looking at a Kings v Jets (which I just be in heaven) or Kings v Preds (where I doubt Kings have much of a hope) West Conference Final. Yeah I'm getting ahead of it.
