The original 5 on 5 rule with two minor penalties was put in thanks to Edmonton. McSorley would go out get into a big pushing, slashing, whacking event (but not fight), and Edmonton would go into its 4 on 4 power play with Gretzky, Kurri, Coffey, etc. the league put a stop to this. Later on they realized not all situations weee coincidental, thus some 4 on 4.

can't be all that surprised, he's spent his career running his mouth then letting his play back it up, the play isn't here this season

Actually, that might be too much. He just might be Trevor Lewis since his stats are inflated by playing top line.

That's super cool for an NCAA FA pick up. No problem with him. He is nowhere near a conteder's Top 6 though.

He is what he is which is a complementary player. I think when you can get 14 goals and 31 points out of an Undrafted Free Agent, it's a win for an organization. He will probably never be much more than that.

He's a very solid 3rd liner on a contender. A great 4th liner if your team has enough depth. Probably would be a good PKer too but they'd rather Kopitar play 2.5 more minutes there.
