lololol

I started listening at the start of the third, so you're welcome fellow Kings fans.

P.S. I didn't listen all the way through, so also sorry bout that ****ing shorty and no gimme for Rick from the refs for hooking.

Three goals in the third period on the back-leg of a back-to-back. Great 3rd period.

It's nice to give Quick some goal support for once. He wasn't on his game. It's nice to get wins when Quick is off every now and then.

i wonder what Sutter told em during that timeout....

DS told them. "OK, if you guys don't come out and play the game then I will read How to play Hockey for Dummy on our flight to Pittsburgh tonight". That seems to motivate the boys and launched a came back win for our Kings.
Great job coach!

Flight? I am guessing train again
Players like it and it is just as quick

It really was a great effort from the Kings, especially coming off the hard fought emotional game in Philly last night, was very proud of the effort showed from the team to overcome a 2-0 and 3-1 deficit and then even after the breakdown late, to come out and get the extra point, even though it really doesn't matter in the standings it was a great effort.

The refs gave the Caps the gimme point.

Come on, lets not go down to the level of the fans in your home province and blame the refs. That call was nothing like what happened in Detroit or even last night in Philly, we are getting ridiculous with this crying about the refs EVERY game. The Kings simply had to play keep away for 90 seconds and they had multiple breakdowns on one play. The good news is they showed nice resilience and were able to get the extra point after battling back from a multi goal deficit.

Really like the way the lines are set up, three games since the big changes and everyone really seems to be thriving in either their increased or decreased roles. And what can you say about Gabo, he was invisible a good chunk of the night but very few players in the league can make the play he made on the goal, that is why he makes the big bucks, really excited to have this guy.

All too true, I had a bad feeling as soon as they lost the draw. That said, down 3-1 after 2, I would've gladly taken a point.

Marian Gaborik hanging out with Alex Curry? Sounds like a bunch of awkard conversations to me.

Does Gabby have a wife/gf?

Gaborik starts every interview with yeah. Even tonight I looked over at my friend and said, "Bet you $5 he starts his answer off with 'yeah'!" Easiest $5 ever.

I sure hope we see more interviews with him as a King next season.

Amen.

There aren't many lines in the NHL where Kopitar would be arguably the worst shooter. Gaborik-Toffoli-Kopi is freaking dangerous and then you still have a 40 goal scorer elsewhere in the lineup? Scary.

We also need to find a way to reduce the own goals to every other game at least.

Though tonights off regehrs dome was hilarious in retrospect

I was just telling my buddy before the game that no team scores more on their own goaltender than the Kings. Side effects of their protect home plate philosophy I suppose.

Just got home from the game. Man that was a fun game. A little bit of everything. Kings forgot that the games started at 7PM ET, I think. At some point, both teams looked like they were going to win the game, then the other team snatched the victory away. Caps fans tried hard to get their team going in the third, but that was an epic collapse. My Caps fan friend just sat in her seat disgusted after the Kings tied the game. Almost left before the Caps scored to tie the game with the empty net. I thought they should have awarded the goal to Richards on the penalty at the end. That call effectively gave the Caps a point.

Crazy collision in overtime. That Ovechkin guy can really lay people out.

Gaborik looked really dangerous the whole 3rd period. The power play was very effective tonight. The King-Stoll-Brown line is nails. That's all I got. Awesome game.
