Petey with a "clutch" play doing what's best for the franchise in the long run. Team needs a serious upgrade and squeezing into the playoffs would be the worst thing for the club. His production has recovered over the last 6-7 games while Miller can't produce shit right now and is leading the rangers to nowhere. No more Miller trade bumps from his stans lately.

One thing I will say - this team is just awful at any form of slingshot for generating on the rush. That's junior stuff, but for whatever reason we just cannot find a way to get a puck to anyone skating with speed

Had some uncharacteristic defensive errors, but Binnington gifted them some goals in the third.
On to the next, going to be a roller coaster as expected when you’re an 8th seed. Clear lack of talent up front, even when compared to the Blues.

Team only got a point cause Binnington crapped the bed in the 3rd on 3 long distance shots he should've had. Not a playoff caliber team this year

I kinda understood the fumble. He was kinda closed in on by 2 St.Louis players, but that part I wasn't really concerned about. Its what he did after.
Instead of rushing back for a defensive formation, he just bent over, spinned his stick, starred at it, for like 3 quarter of seconds, than he skated back which was too late. Have he startd skated back earlier, wouldn't have been a 2 on 1.
Elias Pettersson is just waiting for the season to end. He rather not play the playoffs because if he has bad stats, the blame would be put on him. Can't play "bad" in the playoffs, if you're not even playing in the playoff.
He's frustrated & has been forcing the play too much. Hence the 'greedy' shots.
He just has to slow the game down & use the patience that come natural to elite players.
Right now, he's forcing too much.
This was how I saw it as well. All 3 guys were tired and then QH put EP in a horrible spot. They should have just regrouped and changed with control of the puck.

That goal in overtime is Debrusks fault you can’t change on that play.
Only clueless haters shit on Petey for that play. Hughes threw him a "grenade" and played like crap the entire game.

what I saw was Petey giving up on the play after he fumbled the puck. Nobody is upset at Petey fumbling the puck. People are upset that he just stopped skating, in detail , he twirled his stick, starred at it, then started skating, by then those blues players already blown pass him.
