Grindhouse on IFC, (love the movie) figured I would watch something with some grind to it.

Kings certainly were lacking that quality in period 1.

I came to that conclusion because they are yet again 2 goals behind going into the 2nd period. I will say they looked good on 1 of those PP's.

It just doesn't make sense to beat some of the best teams in the league lately and still they are in this position when they are 2 points behind the sharks for 2nd place in the Pacific. It's time to stop with all the crappy 1st periods.

They also gave up 17, a good period would be taking 17 shots giving up like 5.
17-17 is average at best.

The guys just need to communicate a lot better. Every time they stop communicating you get the pucks in the skates, collisions behind the net, Quick trying to be superman, etc..
