Dont blame Quick for the second one, he challenged, stopped the immediate crisis. An expiring penalty and Thompson misplaying his coverage let the defenseman walk in and bury the puck. If Quick stays in deep his net on the initial rush past his crease it may go in anyway.

This is who the Kings are this season. As badly as people want them to be the team which goes on a winning streak here and there, they aren't that team.

I came to that conclusion because they are yet again 2 goals behind going into the 2nd period. I will say they looked good on 1 of those PP's.

It just doesn't make sense to beat some of the best teams in the league lately and still they are in this position when they are 2 points behind the sharks for 2nd place in the Pacific. It's time to stop with all the crappy 1st periods.
