Hey, we won

I mean nobody was willing to give even a fair offer for him, should we just gift him away and add a pick on something?
Serious question: why are the Canucks best players worth so little on the open market?
I mean, we've seen teams overpay for pretty marginal guys, yet the best Canucks aren't worth anyone's time. Apparently.

Strong first 40 minutes, shot attempts and chances were much closer than the shot clock. Then totally lost it for the middle 10 minutes of the 3rd and were lucky not to blow it. Finished well after the 2-1 goal.

The players obviously care about making the playoffs a lot more than some of the fans here do based on the reactions and body language tonight.

Boeser is on a 14-0-1-1 streak at ES. He's 20-1-3-4 this year at ES in games where JT Miller didn't play. Perhaps shouldn't be surprising that his value tanked. Another poor game today.

Pettersson has flicked a switch in the last two games and is good again. How long will it last? No-one knows!

Thought all of Blueger, Suter, Sherwood, Hoglander, Garland really had solid grindy games. Joshua had been trending up but had a rough game tonight other than a big hit on Middleton early.

Hronek was awesome. The 'can't carry a pairing' stuff was stupid at the time but looks even stupider in hindsight. Has looked like a legit 1D in games without Hughes this year, and has done it largely with a rookie on his pairing. Myers and Pettersson also really good,

Mancini was much better than his first game, didn't do much wrong tonight.

Lankinen good again. Just keep playing him.

Crazy that they could pull off the win despite being outshot by double

It's what they're going to have to do.

They should keep Hronek away from Hughes when Hughes comes back. After a dip, he's back to creating.

Their neutral zone play needs a lot of work. It may be a lack of speed, but it seems like a rushing forward is facing 2 to 3 opposing players every time out.

It's really weird sometimes.

Luke Schenn was playing absolutely fantastic a couple years ago at league minimum and should probably have returned a 1st but only got a 3rd ... and then two years later his shambling corpse on a bloated contract gets a 2nd and a 4th. And it's not like it's Benning making the deals - we know Allvin is a shrewd guy on the trade market.

guys heres a questions do u want this team to still make the playoffs and get winnipeg as their first round opponent and get destroyed... orrr pull a st louis and go on a miracle run with the roster they have?

I don’t think it’s Brock not having value, I think contenders are prioritizing centers and defense at the TDL and just don’t want to pay 1st round + price for wingers unless for super high end guys.

Miller I do wonder if there is a book out on him regarding his temper and that’s why he had little value back a couple of years ago when his contract was low and he didn’t have a NTC.

Other than that I think we had fine value for the guys we traded away. Bo, Soucy got fair value, we actually got picks back for cap dumps. If anything, it’s more like we don’t have any player of value to trade that makes it seems like we don’t get value back. Outside of Miller and Bo, who of actually value did we trade away?
