frustrated by the icing call, really dumbWhat a terrible penalty by Toffoli
Wtf are you talking about Herby?? We’ve drafted a handful of guys who have looked pretty good the unfortunate thing is a few where traded...The Kings have gone 10 years without drafting and developing a top 4 d-man. Forbort is essentially the one-eyed man in the land of the blind.
Almost everything that sucks about the Kings can be attributed to one of the worst decades of drafting and development we've seen in the NHL.
Agreed.I dont see alot of other trades happening until the draft.Carters play isnt attracting anyone,Martinez injury prone lately and Clifford probably not going anywhere.Dion's contract and play isnt desirable.Quicks play isnt good and his cap isnt something that can be traded during the season. That only leaves Lewis.

Erik Cernak is ready a top 4
Colin Miller is a nice Offensive Dman
Roland McKeown would be a starter if not for Carolina being absolutely loaded at D....
3 guys that’ll likely be starting in this team! Add in Clague, Anderson, Phillips, Roy, Hults and LaDue... I’d say we’ve made some bad trades more than bad drafting...
as for an impact guy, well I’ll say this and you can quote me if it doesn’t come to fruition... but Mikey Anderson is at least two notches ahead of where Amart, Forbort, Miller, Cernak and LaDue were at the same stage in their development.. I expect him to become our next stub Dman..
Puck movement and possession in the offensive zone was going fine until...
gotta love how that's immediately a 2 on 1 the other wayPuck movement and possession in the offensive zone was going fine until...
Not a really good argument if Cernak, Miller and McKeown are the examples.
The Kings just haven't been the same since trading Nate Thompson.
His grit, character and veteran presence are surely missed. He was so good at chipping pucks out of the zone.
You guys think this is Blake's tanking strategy? To ice two defensemen in top 4 roles that he knows are going to cost this team every time they step foot on the ice?
1-25-1 when trailing after 2. Yeah this game is done
