I gotta be honest, i would almost always go for the empty net if it was me. Always gonna take opportunities to pad my stats. Did it in EASHL. Will do it in Real life too.

Martinez played some of the better defensive hockey I've seen from him in awhile. His pairing with Phanuef looks pretty good right now.

Yeah and Muzzin were too similar and fumbly with each other. Phaneuf’s role is different, and he knows it.

I would too. Everything is so stat driven these days. Not that Kopitar needs a new contract but if it's a guy like Andreoff where it's the difference between 4 goals and 5, obviously 5 sounds better.
