Problem is whatever chemistry he had with Kempe has been gone for about a month and 1/2. Stevens could always do the Sutter route and drop Toffoli to the 4th line and put Lewis/Clifford/Andy on Kopitar’s wing. Quick what’s Dwight Kings number!!

Too bad Steven didn't have the same forsight to start Kuemper in Nashville and well as the other changes he made tonight.
 
0-4-1 in the last 5 home games against Arizona. 3 different goalies have started the last 3 games, and tonight will be the 4th different starter. OEL has 1G and 5pts in those 5 games, while Doughty has 1 assist. Arizona has had 10 different guys score a goal, a couple of them no longer with the team(primarily Hanzal), to the Kings 4. Toffoli has 4 goals, Brown and Pearson have 2 each, and then Martinez with 1. Kopitar and Carter both have 0 goals. The Kings have averaged 40 shots per game, while the Yotes are at 23. The Kings have a sv% of .870, and the Yotes go with a .955. Most of that is from Smith, but Domingue had a .957 in the one game he started.

So add all that to the 1-4-2 home record against the Pacific. Plus the record over the last month. They have to go against the grain here.

Should be back to normal by kickoff tomorrow.

Lost the last five at home to the Yotes? That's real rough, reaaaaal rough.

Pretty sure Wedgewood looked like a perennial Vezina candidate last time they saw him.
 
If they interview Tocchet in any of the breaks, I sure hope they ask him about his pick for the Super Bowl.

Could use some advice from a seasoned gambler, guy who knows what he's talking about.
