This has been a pretty boring game, but I don’t think it’s the coaching, I think both teams are just clogging up the centre of the ice, both aren’t playing that well

i doubt they'll be able to do that. think their best bet is to just waive him next season and see how much he survives in the minors. way easier to position yourself as a franchise and reduce the difficulty in being unable to predict the unknown between now and when his buyout years are 4+. or at that point, there will only be two years left and they can probably just trade him.

the buyout made sense if they had kept bo, and then traded myers/boeser/garland.
