Missed some of the second but have not noticed the petersson line looking to dangerous, might not hurt to move Beauvillier off that line maybe put on garland for a bit.

All even strength goals, and Podkolzin, Garland and Hughes are the only "+" players on our side, so far.

Podkolzin channeling Ronalds Kenins with a shot so bad the goalie doesn't expect it.
that guy lived the ideal journeyman career arc

cup of coffee in the nhl where he was somewhat memorable and played a playoff series

then played the rest of his career in switzerland

that would have been my dream

I have no idea why it took so long for Di Giuseppe to get a chance with the team.

Seems to have way more offensive touch that the other bottom 6ers
That was evident in preseason. I liked Dries mix of skill and toughness then too

One multi-million dollar contract would be my goal. The rest gets a big thumbs up from me though.

Kenins was good but could only sustain that play style for like 30 games

Kenins played like a wrecking ball. Raffi Torres with less goon and more skill.

And then he stopped doing what made him successful and was out of the league. Pain.

Kenins got hurt and had off-season surgery and looked terrible in training camp coming off that injury.

He should have gone to Utica to get back up to speed but instead they kept him up, he looked terrible, and then was dumped to the AHL. And he kept struggling for a bit, but then sorted himself and lit it up in Utica in the back half of 15-16 but the team stupidly didn’t give him another look.

I always thought Kenins was awful with some of the worst hands I've seen at the NHL level and he just got lucky with some fluke goals

Anyways, back to the game

He’s fast, can handle the puck but he seems below average at reading the play
I thought he was really good. In the first game, should’ve had a couple of wins, honestly he’s been pretty meh this game.

Pod tho looks to be one of Rick‘s favourite new players, that’s nice

This team with no Hughes is just unable to penetrate the neutral zone

This still looks weird.

Beau hasn't done much but I'm 100% behind the philosophy of giving guys a prime opportunity and letting them fail out of it.

They'll fall to their appropriate level eventually

This is some low event hockey especially for the rangers who have a coach who is not known for his defense.

Agree but disagree with dropping Kuzmenko to play with Dries. Kuz gets penalized for being Russian.
