I didn't watch the all-star thing. Did he need to hit the net or was he allowed to fire it a foot wide and then have it ring around the boards and waste 20 seconds on the PP retrieving the puck?

Why does this organization continue to shove OEL down our throats and act like he's an integral part of this team?
He's on one of the worst contracts in the league and he plays to the level of a 6th or 7th Dman. Is thay really the type of player that they want leading by example?
It does match up with the theory that there's a group of players in the locker room who believe contract size and tenure is what should garner respect.

Well that's exactly it. I don't feel like Dries has been a regular due to any kind of special preference.
I’m kinda nostalgic for the old CBC broadcasts. All this corporate glitter is off putting.
Televising the anthems is just f***ing stupid.

I'm okay with it for the tank, but realistically he should be rotating in and out of the lineup to stay fresh and hopefully have more juice in his legs, he's a depth dman at best now
Nothing wrong with nationalism (national pride, not the radical type of nationalism obviously). I'm not some huge patriot or anything either. I'd just rather watch the anthem then more f***ing betting commercials.

I have been rewatching a bunch of 2010 canucks games and man, the tsn/cbc broadcasts were far more watchable.
