I dunno, Kuemper didn’t look good against the Sharks on Monday either I’d still take my chances with Quick but who knows. Maybe getting clown pounded by two division rivals in a week will wake the team up but I doubt it.
 
What's scares me is if this season goes up in flames and Doughty says screw it and goes somewhere else... Were gonna have to blow the team up. Just to pray for a new Doughty.
 
Andreoff is in vs Anaheim

and we'll "goon" things up tomorrow against a team that outgooned us every damn time, but we'll still hit hit and hit and hit every damn player

IT's kind of strange, because each one of these losses has been different. Not like there's a real consistent theme other than Quick getting bombed. Nashville got some crazy breaks. Pens had a rookie goalie save their hides. The divisional games were uglier hockey, for sure, but still nothing to really learn from frankly. WE're not doing one thing consistently terrible to where you can say "yeah fix that and we're ok." I mean, other than not scoring and getting scored on :P
 
The Kings are currently playing in ways that make me wanna hit the fast-forward button. Can't be good for ratings.....
 
id argue that we'd have a better chance at beating the Ducks without Brown, (but also without Andreoff and Clifford) in the lineup

finesse is what beats the ducks

which is why we never beat the ducks
 
If this team really falls apart, I don't think I can watch hockey any more.

The modry days were bad enough. I can't go back to the pre Kopitar days. That was bad enough. Can't do it it again lol in all honesty.

Which is worse, not having a straight answer to the issues, I guess consistency? I just feel like during our deep runs we just found ways to win and pull ourselves out of holes. And now we just do the opposite lately.
 
Carter should man up and play on vicodin.

He should play tomorrow. And bring up Vilardi. If the kings are gonna blow It, at least do it with style.lol

Doughty no doubt stays a King and the ownership will throw money at him.Browns play has picked up due to style of play imo.

Quick is older but so is Lundqvist and still playing at a high level.Quick can't be the savior every night and needs defensive help.Kopi and Carter I still have faith.

Now, if Blake isn't going to make trades to fill the holes on the roster to make them a competitive cup team, then I agree blow it up and trade the core.
 
Heaven help me if we trade Vilardi and 1St for someone and get bounced in the first round or miss the playoffs all together.
 
Quick has had a rough few games, letting in the odd early stinker. He needs to pick his game up again.

Lewis seems to be consistently good this year, becoming a leader. Love him sticking his oar in with Malkin getting shirty.

Bringing carts back (healthy) should make a big difference, to balance the attack and take some of the focus from Kopitar. We aren't toast yet, but need to turn it around quick.

For a team to really excel at something everyone has to chip in.
