Since Doughty came back there's a less likely chance Maroon gets suspended. Obviously I'd rather have Doughty back than Maroon suspended but it was still clear intent to injure. Should be a suspension regardless of the severity of the injury. That's why guys keep doing it. Penalties aren't harsh enough.
Yup. If a blatant shoulder to the jaw doesn’t get a multi game suspension then honestly I hope the NHL gets its ass sued off and loses. This is the biggest problem with the NHL. Suspensions are reactionary depending on the extent of the injury, not the intent to injure.
Exactly. You said it better than me.This is the biggest problem with the NHL. Suspensions are reactionary depending on the extent of the injury, not the intent to injure.
yeah i really like that guyKhaira I think will eventually be a real solid player. Wayne Simmonds with less skill and more strength? Something along those lines.
SMH I Know still a whole half of a season to go but the Oilers are absolutely in the Fallin For Dahlin mode. Pathetic and I bet they get him too.
There should be a rule you can't just tank and keep getting number pick after number 1 pick in a short period of time.SMH I Know still a whole half of a season to go but the Oilers are absolutely in the Fallin For Dahlin mode. Pathetic and I bet they get him too.

They could pull their BS "the match penalty was enough punishment since Doughty came back" explanation. There's is no way the NHL is going to not suspend Maroon for that contact to the head.Marion wasn't playing the puck,Doughty didn't touch the puck and he skated straight to Doughty and made without a doubt contact to the head.A match penalty was issued as a intent to injure and Doughty is a star player and you know it's a automatic review by the league.
It's because the pa has a conflict of interest.Always a bit torn on this. I know players need people from the outside, an objective viewpoint, to mold the game, that's why refs exist, because players are always innocent, but the players are the people that get hurt. Players take the risk, and if the PA doesn't make a larger stink about the lack of harshness from disciplinary penalties, it's tough to get too crazy about it for me.
Two words:How come I'm unable to respond here at times? There's like this weird glitch
Hmm heard of that. Now what do I do about it?Two words:
Java script.
Yeah they don’t want guys hurt because it jeapordizes their career but they don’t want guys suspended because those guys lose pay. It’s a lose-lose.It's because the pa has a conflict of interest.
They will always take the side of the player that did the wrong vs protecting the player that was hurt.
I'm torn on it, we want them to have some hope against Anaheim on Thurs.Oh god, the shutout jinx.
Yeah I'm unable to Like too. It has become a hassle.Yeah Cruel, I liked Reapers comment then tried to like his current one and it said I was blocked lol.Waited a minute and it let me like that blocked comment lol
