The only reason that happened was because Paul was on the New Orleans Hornets which was owned by the league at the time and the rest of the league called foul when New Orleans ended up with a grab bag of lesser players while the Lakers got the best player in the dealI don't follow the NBA anymore, but wasn't there a time the Lakers were trying to get Chris Paul and the NBA stepped in and voided the trade? When could the league step in and say this is a bad trade or did something like that get changed. It seemed like this is something the NBA should have reviewed throughly first before it became official.
