Needed that win badly. Solid 60 minute game. Got a little concerned after the disallowed goal, but they held strong and Toffoli sealed it.

2 days off, i don't see anything out of doughty that indicates he needs rest

dude's a gamer

I have seen a few blown un drew plays out there. Only reason most the time no one notices is someone cover him. When he s playing so many mins he makes dumb mistake with the puck Also not fresh enough if we are trying to come from behind to do the end to end rush

i'm not seeing it. assuming that every mistake is a mental fatigue mistake isn't fair to him or anyone else. he's still got enough energy to throw spinoramas on the breakout at the end of periods..

Playing from ahead is different on ur energy use then playing from behind imo. I think it will wear on him a lot We need others to step up and play the mins they should be playing Looking at Forbort Fattenburg folin and MacDermid when in

3 of 8 possible points = .375. Fail! :(

Like was said, could've been worse.

When you get a collective .894sv% in the 4 games, Mitchell is tied with Toffoli for the lead in scoring with 2G and 3pts each, Martinez has more points than Doughty and Muzzin combined, and you get 1G and 1pt from Kopitar, the same as Lewis, 3 out of 8 isn't good, but it probably should've been worse.

That is Drew's at least 6th point called back this year  ...might actually be 7 but I think they flipped one of them, I forget.

Eastern teams can do no wrong against he kings

On this road trip: 16 PPs for opponents, 9 for the Kings (6-2 tonight) despite 80% HDCF% tonight, 60% vs. the Rangers, 55% vs. the Devils. Fun stuff.

Sorry guys been busy packing and moving to post any negative facts the last few games.I see the boys are crapping the bed lately.

Miss you bro, be safe on the road. It's a wild week.

Hasn’t been a bad game, but I dont like these early leads and watching the other team hang around for 40 minutes.

I agree, it's been few and far between we put together a full 60, though we were closest to that we've been in a while tonight (easy to say after the game, heh). Usually we suck in the first and chase the game, or kill it in the first and hang on for dear life.

Softest goalie interference ive ever seen. Weak sauce, east coast.

Quick gets bumped harder between whistles than Elliott did there. Garbage.

did we just get an interference call? holy ****..

Only when the game was safely out of hand, can't have the crowd or the benches yelling at the poor refs.

3 out of a possible 8 points sounds so much better than 1 out of 8.

Yeah I was thinking that before the game. 3 of 8 is...acceptable. Not great, but salvaged a trip in which we played pretty well for the most part. 1 of 8 would have been abysmal. 3 in 4 and 4 in 6 across the country is no joke either though.

then he needs to be replaced I would refer to ice a defense man capable of playing 18 mins a night thats not that hard is it/?
find a defenseman capable of playing this system for 18 minutes a night and find him on a team that's willing to trade him and find a player you're going to be able to trade for him............

not so simple is it

Don’t like where Forbort was positioned on that PK, on top of his own crease. A little better positioning to his proper side of the ice, and he may prevent that that shot.
You blame Forbort for a lot.

I understand what you mean because that was my initial thought as well after watching that goal but than I checked it again.

Lets assume he was standing a little more to that side and the goal was scored by Couturier (#14), than it would have been his fault as well. It was kinda lucky that the puck went to Voracek, via Doughty’s foot.

looks at Paul LaDue capable of playing 18 mins and wow plays on a team that's willing to lets us play him for super cheap or wait make that free sounds pretty simple to me :sarcasm:

Remains to be seen. It's not like he is tearing it up in the minors. Don't get me wrong, LaDue appears to be making good progress, but it's a long way from where he is to 18 minutes a night in the NHL.
