Carter and Toffoli should be traded now, if there are ANY offers that the Kings do not retain.

Cal Petersen LA MVP. Nails. He's phenomenal. Yes, because of THE SUCK, the emergence of Petersen and some GMs wanting Quick,
I fully expect him to be traded between now and deadline. Would love to get another 1st rd pick.
Get a defenseman with the second #1...Broberg, Soderstrom, York.

Muzzin was Muzzin of old tonight, nasty and good.
Wish that guy would show up more often
Like most of the guys with 2 cups on this team, they show up about 1 out 5 games max. Muzzin maybe 1 out 10..Tofolli 1 out of 50. Get out the john deere loader tractor and shovel them up, maybe make a good compost

Be careful what you wish for. Could easily be the next Teubert.

The only pick where the worst team is more likely than the field to get the pick is 4th overall. Also, the team finishing 4th worst is more likely to move up or down, and to either possible extreme, than they are to pick 4th.

Lottery day will be intense.

Sabres fan coming in peace.
You mean, the "generational dynasty Sabres" that have taken on bloated contracts that fill our 2nd and 3rd lines with a couple of complementary and rookie players?
Buffalo is just coming out of the rebuild my friend. Take a good hard look at their pipeline of talent, in the AHL, Jr's, over seas, signed and unsigned. Plus four 1st round picks in the next 2 drafts, which look to be valuable.

I'd pay attention to GM Jason Botterill, who you should be familiar with, since he helped construct and maintain the Pittsburgh Penguins to 3 Stanley Cups in his tenor there.
They shouldn't be taken lightly.

Good game, enjoy your evening on the coast.
Hey Im happy for your team coming out of the dark ages.. Buffalo has no championships so I hope you guys get a cup while the Kings are rebuilding

There's certain guys that have intangibles as they say - that should never be traded or let go to FA... for me that would be Lapierre, Justin Williams and Jonathan Quick. Some guys are a rock that never give up and never mail it in. I would put all 3 of those guys in that category. I am all for maximizing a rebuild, but there is also the need for some continuity with winning. Kopi and DD you can see they guys have either burned out or just have moved on to other priorities. Guys like Quick never do.

it's the worst kind of result actually

there's no satisfaction to get that point; because at the end of the day, they lost, AND it doesn't help the other end of the spectrum either, which is the tank!

at this point, Kings just plain suck at everything

Or they could have won the game and be an extra point away from Hughes....it's not like they came back to force overtime, they were up 3-1.

I guess this is NOW Ladue's chance. If Clague, Roy, Brickley, Lintu or MacD come up and Ladue sits....that will probably be the end of him here.
I hope he excels.

The problem here is always repeating whatever Hoven says.

"Rumor is Quick is being moved".

Wrong. Hoven tweeted his opinion on the matter. Could happen but there isn't even smoke from two sticks rubbing together on that one.

Yup I was wrong.I was misinterpreting the chart.I finally caught what I was doing wrong.I was looking at it as draft position % of teams 1-4 getting 1st overall instead of the % of the 1st overall team chances of drafting 1st thru 4th.Thanks again K17
No worries man.

Phaneuf is a waste at this point but I’m sorry guys I am liking Nate Thompson’s game under Willie D.

Plus, the Kings are a bit soft and he showed tonight he can go with a tough D in Bogosian.

Not opposed if the Kings go rebuild next season they bring back Nate on a one year deal as a veteran for leadership, toughness and face offs.

Agreed, if a team is rebuilding Thompson is captain material. He puts forth max effort every game. It's the only way he stays in the NHL, and young guys can learn a lot watching guys like him.

Petereson's performance is what? He played well.....what the hell is he talking about

The two bloggers bro's are beating the drum loud a clear on the "Quick will be traded" train! They've already anoited Cal the No. 1 guy with only 9 games of NHL experience. Their spin, when it doesn't happen, will be much better than the Wiliams wasn't traded one.

The Kempe line has been pretty good. Real nice goal from them.

Peterson was solid, kid is legit.

Muzzin was very good, very good.

Good to see Thompson drop em and pop him. Quick hands.

The assortment of young forwards were good.

The rest,,,ehh.

Curious to see the defensive pairings Thursday.

these guys are nashville jr.. every opportunity to sell a call or get away with something, they will

Yep. Just saw the game in full and that was going to be my only reaction...shame on Buffalo joining the ranks of Nashville and VGK as 'full of skill and should be fun to watch but completely unlikeable' because they magically get clear tape over their blades when they might lose possession or feel a lighter-than-average shove from any angle. Rat hockey is alive and well and now growing with the youngsters, great job Bettman. On my short auto-root-against list now.
