i don’t think anyone is disputing the major, but the refs have ignored stuff all game topped off by multiple whacks at anderson on the sequence that led to the cross check. players are going to take matters into their own hands if the refs won’t. it is a well documented phenomenon

Guentzel gave two cross checks and a punch in the back of the head but I guess no penalty for those either. Should have been 5 on Skinner and 4 on Guentzel

Most are annoyed Guenztal didn’t get called for the punch to the back of the head when skinner was down.

The whole review thing in typical NHL fashion has nothing to do with getting it right. If it was they would be looking at any penalties.
