Well... the vets are stepping up.
Secondary scoring still a major weakness.
Kovalchuk still played 3rd liner minutes and is not being utilized on the PP.
Always happy when Brown and Kopitar score. Kopitar's my favorite player and the fan boy in me wants Brown to retire a King.
Explain that f-up by the officials? lost a second because of....
Kings deserved at least a point out of that game for the first time all year, but self inflicted wounds. Not scoring on breakaways, terrible pp at the end, goal called back, just the **** side of the coin flips all night on what was otherwise a really competitive game, and Quick's rust showed.
And the refs stopping Draisaitl from committing a penalty late in the 4th quarter. That and the icing **** up were inexcusable, just all ego, "we want to go home" sort of anger displayed all over their faces.

3rd period obviously lol watching the Lakers game too.
That's true, Kings wouldn't have scored on it. But at least it kills 2 minutes off the clock lolI didn't want the Kings on the PP though, I just didn't want the oilers to get one either haha
Remember when people used to talk about how much better Stastny was than Kopitar? Yeah...Remember that rumor couple years ago Landeskog for Ladue swap, folks were "Hell no Ladue stays"....yeah..

It’s the internet. People are, unsurprisingly, not experts.
You sound like the Colorado fans. This meme is being misremembered. It was Pearson, LaDue, and a 1st, and it was when Pearson was flying high, LaDue was a 2nd pairing heir apparent to fill the Voynov hole, and no one in their right mind wanted to give up a first rounder for a guy who COULD bounce back but at the time had a Dustin Brownish 33 point season after two 50 point seasons, never mind just being a "kings style" forward.
That's significantly different than "lol those idiots didn't want to give up LaDue for Landeskog."
