I wonder if the NHL should allow for rotations in call ups more. Like some sort of advancement on a two way contract where a certain amount of call ups per season can be used without waivers simply to rest players. Would allow for more opportunity for AHLers, and I think it would make things a bit more interesting in a way. Like I want to see guys come in and out and players not play 82 games and run their bodies into the ground.

But with the cap, roster limits - that shit's virtually impossible.

League shouldn't ever really have teams playing with 17 players on a night because of their cap situations. Or players being played into the ground.

I think he's opened himself up to criticism because there's no excuse for this.

If he's healthy and playing like this, he should be criticized.

If he's injured and playing through it, he's stupid and he's hurting the team because he's basically useless out there.

Both warrant criticism for different reasons.

He did not. He just performed like a rockstar in the second half, but he was also totally fine in the first half.
