I don't think he should be going anywhere. Hell, put him out there in 3 on 3 just to win possession and then put out Pettersson. I've seen teams use that strategy to gain possession.

The Canucks are 11th in goals for despite missing Miller and Boeser for significant amounts of time, and having a defense that's horrific at moving the puck.

This Tocchet is allergic to offense talk is wild. They need better puck movers if they're going to try and play a more up-tempo offensive system, as otherwise they're going to bleed rush chances against.

tocchet's system doesn't help but this team struggles to generate offense because they're small, slow and their defense can't move the puck. the roster construction is just bad. they have talented players and depth but they're all the same kind of player. they need guys who can pass and carry the puck with speed both on the backend and up front
