Multiple times now where Canucks are winning the icing race and the refs are giving it to Detroit.

Noah Juulsen also took himself out of position earlier on the Red Wings entry in a missed hit. He’s great on the PK but nearly unplayable at 5-on-5.

I do not understand how it keeps happening.

The coaching for juulsen (+myers,soucy) should be don't chase hits or players behind the net, and don't pinch.

Over and over again by now it should be much less of an issue.

I absolutely can't stand Tocchet as a coach. I've literally stopped watching lately cuz I can't stand the way he has this team playing and his insistence on his stupid f***ing defense. Friedman should have been in the top 6 in October let alone now.

Allvin certainly made a huge mistake saving the D for last this offseason. Any sort of injury to the top pair and the D is trash. Well Hronek is hurt and look at us now.

No ones showed up today outside of Lankinen. Dmen can’t make a pass, forwards can’t handle the puck, and no one’s putting themselves in positions on the breakout to make a play.

Yeah, I’m not sure how the coaching staff can look at what this defensive group is doing and not try Friedman in place of any of Myers, Juulsen or Desharnais.

Friedman should have been in the nhl the past three years, at the very least he's a solid seventh defenseman.

People don’t seem to realize this team has struggled to generate shots under literally every system they’ve played, and only in Tocchet’s system have they ever controlled play.

People are just blaming the coach because it’s an easy scapegoat, when in reality the way this defense is built outside of Hughes/Hronek makes it almost impossible to generate anything.
