I imagine they have to be aware that they keep facing the backup goalies. It's just a big FU to the team.

Muzzin. His last 104 games. Wow. I'd love to know what happened to him. It was never this bad. Even his rookie year. It seems to be never ending at this point. He's just a turd out there.

Another game, another 0 goals at ES for the 1st line, and the 1st line wingers especially. Iafallo has 1 all year. Brown has 0 since the 3rd game of the season. Technically 1, but it was an into an empty net.

Another loss to a western team. Now 0-3-2 at home against the West. 2-5-2 overall. Awful.

You're a seer?
Yeah, I saw it before the season even started. The only surprise to me thus far is how far the Oilers are out of it.

I mentioned during the winning streak it was great to see the Kings winning games they should win. I also pointed out the schedule early on was pretty favorable. Some here, yourself especially, got upset by the observation.

It's fine to be a fan. We all want the Kings to win. Some people who post here are realists though.

Same problem as last year; cannot beat Western teams especially when facing a backup. At least they are crumbling now instead towards the end, that would have been heartbreaking.

At this point I think Blake has to be open to moving Martinez or Muzzin. Probably not the right time to get the maximum return though. Ideally, Blake will be looking for a contending team with an injury to a top 4 defenseman around the trade deadline. Either one of Martinez or Muzzin would be a nice add for a team like that in need of a 3, 4, or 5 defenseman.

Every team is now trapping through the neutral zone against the Kings. They can't get any speed going.

Sutter Hockey vs the Kings is now 6-0.

Getting Carter back will make a huge difference. Too bad February is a long way off, the Kings might dig too big a hole by then.

Kings are now only 3 points away from 13th place in the conference. 1st to almost last in the span of a couple weeks.
Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vegas is 4, Nashville is 5, and so on...

Pretty easy to cherry pick the standing when 6 teams are tied with 23 points. You know what, the Kings are 3 points from 2nd in the conference. #halffull

You mean that time he was way out of position?

um, yeah - seen that before, plenty of times.

He's an aggressive goalie. He's not going to change. Complaining about Quick being aggressive is essentially just complaining he's the goalie. That's not going to change anytime soon.

I'm not saying you're complaint doesn't have merit. There's essentially two ways to go about it, stay at home and play percentages(which a lot of great goalies do) or being active and aggressive which is what goalies like Quick do.

We all knew in the back of our minds that they weren't as good as the hot stretch indicated.

We all know now they're not as bad as this losing stretch.

This team was always going to battle on the playoff bubble. It's not the end of the world. Lot of good teams in this conference.

Gotta love people like K17, though. Account goes into complete radio silence when the team is winning. Now they're losing, and he's in every GDT playing I told you so.

Remember, kids: it's important to be right on the internet.

19 of 24 points in October, 130 over 82 games. 7 of 20 points so far in November, 57 over 82 games. 26 out of 44 in total, which is 97 over 82. It's funny, if they had these 26 points in a more even distribution, we probably wouldn't complain as much. Kopitar, Brown, Toffoli, Doughty, and Kempe are all scoring at a rate we all only hoped they could in our wildest dreams. It's just the wild swing from one month to the next, and the way they've managed to do it this month. Which looks so much like last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.

22 games played, from college to the NHL. How about cutting him just a little slack. mkay?

2nd in ES ice time for forwards, and 3rd in overall ice time for forwards. He's got 1 goal. The effort is there, no question. He's got 1 goal in 22 games. On pace for 30 points. He's the 1st line LW. If he's on the 3rd line, ok, you get some more slack. He plays too much to have just 1 goal.

Not just him, it's Brown too. Your 2nd and 3rd forwards in ES ice time have 1 goal at ES since Oct 11. It's Nov 22nd. It's 6 weeks now. At least Kopitar has 5 during that stretch. 0 in the last 7 though. 1 in the last 12, and 2 in the last 15.

7-8-1 since Carter went down. 4-8-4 in regulation. Too many guys haven't picked up the slack in Carter's absence. Forwards, defensemen, goalies.
