This team has deep issues. The inconsistency and how out of sync they look is worrisome.

I dunno, take back a goal against quick if he was at his norm and it would have been really close. I didn't like the doughty stick snap pout at the end, kids gotta play better not break sticks

Thought the kings would be better off with sutter gone, no more love fest to crappy players...yet andreoff. Sigh. Kings had pressure yet Stevens waits until last min to pull goalie. Brilliant.

New system, more scoring chances against and the team still struggles to score. This team flat out is not good with the injuries they have. No depth.

It the end, it's the players who have the most influence, the coach not so much.

I miss Fraser and Stoll, both guys were perfect bottom Centers. Gritty, tough, excellent in the face-offs, both could PK. Chipped in scoring when it counted.

2-4-2, and 1-4-3 in regulation, against the West. 2-3-1, and 1-3-2 in regulation, against the Pacific. 3 more games this week against western teams. 2 of them at home, where they haven't won yet.

Things are starting to spiral a bit. If it's not one thing, it's another lately. They can put themselves in a good position by the Thanksgiving weekend, or really go into a slump.

Might have been Jonathan Quick's worst game of his career, that's about all there is to say.

Vegas basically plays Sutter hockey. Just executing with very few failures and massive skating pressure everywhere. Not much puck fumbling, barely even iced the puck. Yet somehow we were still only one of three stupid bounces in front away from tying the game as ugly as it was the whole time.

Vegas is gonna be there all year, and so will we.

Sutter Hockey vs the Kings this year 5-0....Ouch.

Oh I agree, to an extent. Coach still determines matchups line combos ect.

I remember a few years ago reading how the sedins were towards the top of the scoring race and what helped is they took something like 70% of their shifts with the face offs starting In the attacking zone, while kopi was on the opposite end of the spectrum.

I'm not blaming this game on andreoff but seriously, WTF has he done to be anywhere near the 3rd line? How long did it take to finally breakup the Martinez muzzin pairing? The frustrating part is Stevens know and understands more about this stuff than I do, but it's the obvious stuff regarding personnel decisions that are just baffling.

This team has some serious issues. It's clear they don't have the depth to sustain multiple injuries.

Agreed, and I don't think anyone will disagree.

But also consider we just played the best home team in the league at home on the second night of a back to back with Quick's worst night ever and were were still just shit bounces away from tying it up.

It was ugly, don't get me wrong, but this loss is hardly armageddon for me. I was just hoping it would be a great game. That was sabotaged by JQ, and we still battled back

A lot of that has to do with the Coach doesn't trust anyone else to take the minutes. Stevens keeps going back to A-Mart/Muzzin cause he doesn't trust anyone else playing those second pairing minutes. No one has pushed Andy off this roster in Stevens eyes.

It's why just about every NHL coach loves players like Trevor Lewis. Lewis is not going to score a lot, but he plays hard ever shift, does what he is told, great team guy, doesn't complain, and rarely makes mistakes.

A 4-7-4 regulation record without Carter. 7-7-1 in total. First, how has it been 15 games already? Second, 15 points in 15 games is about the same points% as last year.

Voynov in 14-15. Quick last year. Carter this year. Gaborik the last 3 years. Seemingly unable to replace any of them. Which does make sense. Especially in a cap league.

That's my point though with Stevens. same with sutter with the Dwight king love fest, and he wasn't even good enough to stay with a crappy Montreal team. Andreoff as a 4th line with the injuries is fine. More than that and it just hampers the team.

Doughty is the most experienced defenseman on the team.

Well if there is a good thing to take forward our backup goalie has played almost 2 full games of shutout hockey
