The overall footspeed of this team.

Brown is still at $6m until 2022, and can pick 8 teams. That's uprooting the family, he's not going somewhere to lose, so the other 8 teams probably have their own cap issues. It's not going to be easy to trade him. It's tough enough trading the normal 5 that everyone wants to trade.

I dunno if I can do another period of this.

Got to get up tomorrow and get ready for some serious tailgating.

Gotta go cheer on my Hamilton Tiger-Cats on..Its CFL Playoff time! :D

I almost made this exact same post. I'm not sure if I'm saying full-blow up or whatever yet, but there HAS to be some player movement, even lateral moves. It's just stagnant and this group just doesn't work. Too many of the same guy on defense....anyone looking for a big vanilla LHD? We've got a monopoly on them. Same with north-south forwards that can get a shot off the wing and win some board battles.

Kind of have one foot in three different rooms right now, and I chalk that up to it being early--we'll see what Blake's vision is as the season goes on, but these early results will probably have great impact.

Agreed. I thought so too earlier in the year when it comes to lateral moves, but I would seriously consider straight up futures for players at this point. I don't see this turning around lightly. Our only hope for a quick turn around with this core is a phoenix rebirth through picking an impact player high in the draft and infusing the roster with younger, faster, talent. Even then, too many things have to go right. Our ship may have sailed.

It's now or never. It really pains me to say it because I didn't recommend trading Dustin even when he was slumping, this is the first time I have suggested it since we drafted him, but he is still a fine player, he has proven himself and is a desirable asset. If you don't deal him now, I don't know if you will ever have the chance as the team deteriorates.
