GDT: GM #10 Los Angeles Kempes vs Montreal Canadiens @4:30

seriously.. last season i honestly didn't want to watch some games, now i find myself leaving work a bit early to catch these ones and planning around the games

Still expecting a slump with the young kids but god damn has the start of this season been fun! Team looks great. Our big and expensive guns are playing well. Feels good to see Brownie back at things, feel really good for the guy it's been a tough couple seasons for him.
 
It's a damn miracle Quick got a shut out in this game. It was one dopey turnover after another by our defensemen in our own zone down the stretch.

I realize it's 4 games in 6 nights, but the Kings have got to clean up their d-zone puck management or it's going to catch up to them over the course of long 82 game season.

Talking individual performances Quick was freaking awesome tonight. Kept the team in the game in the first period and allowed them to build confidence. Kempe continues to pile up the points with another goal and assist. Congrats to Kurtis MacDermid on his first goal. He's really impressed me this season when I didn't expect much. And what I love the most about MacDermid is that he's been incredibly disciplined both with and without the puck which is something I never saw in the AHL. I don't think Amadio got too much ice time, but he looked like he belongs. Didn't look out of place in the slightest.

If I have criticize them for anything I think they were a little bit careless in the defensive zone more than a couple times tonight. If it weren't for Quick early on its probably different kind of game. On to Boston!

Kurtis looks a little nervous in that interview but damn what's with the camera so freaking close to his face?
 
Man, Kempe is really breaking out. I hope he can still play a solid game when the inevitable cool off happens. He's really filling in as a nice stop gap with Carter out. I didn't realize Amadio was that large for his age. Just keep rollin rollin rollin rollin WHAT?!

Didn't get to see any of the game tonight, but sounds like the Kings had another good performance. Keep it rolling!
