Yep it's really f***ing weird. They need to take one of Jarventie or Kemell from the second unit. There is no real one timer threat on the firstWhy is Puutio in 1st PP shooter spot? Is he better than Kemell because it doesn't seem that way.
Suomi dude Liukis just horse collared a German player, so it looks like both are getting gritty with each other….which I’m cool with so long as no one gets injured
I wouldnt exactly say that you have dominated. We just shoot too little. This was absolutely a winnable game.
Hell of a shot.Jarventie is Finlands best player. They'd be losing right now without him.
Germany was keeping up 5 on 5.I wouldnt exactly say that you have dominated. We just shoot too little.
Good PP guy.Jarventie is Finlands best player. They'd be losing right now without him.
I've heard this same talk from every nations fans during all these past competitions and somehow 95% of the times Finland wins.Germany was keeping up 5 on 5.
just took one broken play and the game would have been tied.
Germany just can’t stop taking stupid penalty’s against a powerplay that has been over 60% this tournament.
2 goals and a first assist for a tap in. He doesnt need the puck to be effective, has NHL tools that project at the next level. Has the size and skating.Good PP guy.
And technically they’d be tied without him![]()
I said this before the game - If an underdog wants to win they need 3 things.I've heard this same talk from every nations fans during all these past competitions and somehow 95% of the times Finland wins.
You can't talk about whatifs in this level of sports.
Having the best 2 shooters on PP2 and none on PP1 is so stupid, truly. Why is Puutio in 1st PP shooter spot? Is he better than Kemell because it doesn't seem that way.
Of course they had a chance, i'm not denying that. Germany has played well!I said this before the game - If an underdog wants to win they need 3 things.
Good goaltending, Limit high quality shots, and stay out of the box.
Bugl has been good 5 on 5, Germany has done an excellent job limiting Finlands high quality shots.
Not to mention Meralainen has been horrendous all tournament - he has been a damn trampoline.
Germany absolutely had a chance to win this game.
