Don't mean to cause disrespect, but this 'paddle' giveaway thing is a huge mess. Many, many ways to display native artwork if you wish to go that way. Just looks dumb imo.
I'd have to agree, what teenager is thing "just what I wanted, a mini paddle!"

A 3-0 win is struggling now?

You're right, if Germany scored 4 more goals they'd win the game. Close one. :sarcasm:
But we only scored 3 on a team the US scored 10 on grumble grumble.

Just ignore the fact that we also shut out a team they gave up 5 to.
Honestly I’ve been pretty unimpressed by both of the pre tournament favourites. It wouldn’t surprise me to see either one win gold or see either one fail to get a medal.

Grown men invested in what a teenager likes or doesn't like on social media might be the saddest thing I've seen this month.

They are what 18-19? They are adults. Not 12 year olds.

The grown men being there future employers who are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on their development?

Character is huge. Openly cheering for a loss because you didn’t get picked is a terrible career move.

I'm not sure clicking like on a post equates to cheering for a loss.

I mean if a future employer sees it that way, I would be more worried about that person than a couple of 18 year olds clicking like on social media.

As long as Carter George keeps putting up shutouts, it really doesn’t matter how ineffective Canada’s offensive game is.

If a negative article was posted by your employer and you like it on a public account - how do you think they'd take it?

Cheap goal to make it 2-0 but that’s what you have to do - - forget about the cute little tic tac toe passing plays, just crash the net and throw shots towards the traffic.

Let’s get wild, Belleville style, let’s get wild for the Belleville bulls!

I didn’t know Team Canada was an NHL team

You're right. They should never play for them again. Let them go to Latvia camp. Don't want players actively cheering against their home country.

It's a character thing, they're probably cheering against their NHL teams losses too if they get cut from camp.

You or Divine own a NHL team?

Just because that's how you've chosen to perceive pushing a button on the internet doesn't mean that's the case. Maybe they meant it as a congratulations to Latvia, maybe they were liking an entertaining game, maybe they were liking a once a decade upset? The f*** do you know?

Many Canadian posters on here were simultaneously celebrating and bemoaning that game. It's possible for most to hold more than one thought in their head.

It wasn't a negative article. It was a factual article pertaining to the industry the people are eventually seeking employment.

And since they aren't on the team, they aren't actively cheering against their employer even if you want to pretend to take it as seriously as you're taking it.

It's common knowledge. Talk to any HR or agent. Agents have actively talked to players about what they put on social media.
