I will never understand the "play at 40% people"

It's a two way sport. If you let off the pedal it will mean you're playing in your own end and getting hit more, getting your goalie lit up more, and intentionally having to throw the puck to the opponents. Not going to happen by choice.

Not to mention goal differential actually matters.

You can still play defense and as much as chicken parm says it, sending out your first PP up a bakers dozen, is pretty salty.

We will likely end up 17 or 18.

I normally would not suggest easing up, but this is kind of unique with how few players Germany was even able to ice.

It's cheating, there's no way around it. There's being the better team and there's making a joke of the sport.

This is really really bad for team Canada.

This could of been a chance to tighten up their 3rd and 4th lines.

Nobody on the Canadian time is getting any practice out of this.

We'll pay for this in the next game.

They should of played 14 on 14 for each period.

Canada needs competition not goal differentials.

Watch for the men in 2022 qualifying. Alphonso Davies is one of the best LBs in the world, Jonathan David, Junior Hoilett, Scott Arfield, Osorio, some more...they have the talent to make a splash. Problem is they don't play enough games.
