Reading through threads like this, I can only shake my head at the large number of people - I assume almost all of voting age - who don't believe
- biases exist
- politically based (unfair) decisions exist
- people at the top of the pyramid of all corporate structures can make mistakes / do their job poorly
- corporate ladder types DO sometimes conspire with others
- it's beyond our ken to dare question authorities or want to make improvements / want replacements / want a better management structure
Just look at the facts of what the general stats are for good teams in terms of penalty comparison vs opponents, and look at the most penalised teams vs least, year over year, and compare their records, and take into context how "heavy" a hitting/physical team they are
You will find that, the Leafs are
- a soft checking team
- averga ephysiclity
- good winning team
- most penalised
And this is year over year, since we did have an actual tough/physical team in the 2000s.
It has been proven that the NHL employs biased refs.
They just don't want to let the public know, and so had to repeel one officials credentials when he outed them.
I'm sure there are people who didn't believe it before and refuse to believe it today. Or perhaps they're biased.
