Great start to the tournament. Is it sad that I'm planning my monday around watching the game tomorrow?

...in my defense I am done with finals.

What's sad are the people NOT planning their Monday's around the game.

This tournament and the World Juniors are usually the two biggest events I look forward to. Obviously this year we had the Olympics but I've still be excited to see team USA back on the ice.

They could come if they want but I believe USA Hockey chose not to invite the Olympians. There's not a lot of enthusiasm for this tournament amongst American players so it's common for many players to decline invitations every year.

I don't expect him to get a start to be honest. Leggio might get a game or two though.

Looked great in the first two games. Big, quick and looked like he had a pretty decent hockey IQ.

Faulk likely declined no other reason he wouldn't be there.

I believe the Blues got knocked out too late for Shatty to realistically get on the team.

He rightly declined because he was an Olympian. Also was the best defenseman the past two years on the WC team at 20 and 21 years old. I would liked to have seen him play but don't blame him at all.

Have to make a change. He's barely made any difficult saves, his rebound control has been atrocious, and he's out of position too often (and it's not 3 years ago, he can't recover). I wouldn't even dress him tomorrow. Let him rest and see if he can get his head right.

I think he actually won us the game against the Swiss with some big saves, especially in the last few minutes.

Didn't see the game today, but Thomas played well the first 2 games, and the entire team got smoked by Russia, I would hardly call Thomas a beer league goalie from what I have seen of him this tournament. he had a bad game and I am okay with a goalie change, but looking at his replacements, perfectly fine if he stays in knowing how streaky Thomas has been his entire career.

Against the Swiss but you're right. Not a lot of options.
