I really hoped that Bäckis would come. This team is not looking good at all..

It would great if we get some good players from Boston or Detroit. Nyquist would be nice.

I'm guessing they wait for Charlotte to be eliminated first. They're 2 pts out of the playoffs with 2 games to play. For me he's a no-brainer to bring to the EHT tournament, and then go from there.
 
We could do fine without Edler and Ekman-Larsson, actually we could have this defense still! :) In theory...

I guess it was wishful thinking that Bäckström would see this as redemption rather than caving in for his most inner fears. That is not how a winner through adversity acts. With Ovechkin on his club team, good luck winning a Cup!

I wonder if Mårts will give Stålberg a call? He wouldn't be my first choice, but considering we have so many declines he should now be considered IMO.
 
Ekholm has been great this year, obviously lost the spot light to Jones so he's been off the radar. That is a very good addition.

Tom Nilsson is currently on roster. Might still be displaced by players from the SHL final teams (Färjestad and Skellefteå) and NHLers, but he has a good chance to make the team. Seems like Mårts really likes him

Yep, Klingberg and Staffan Kronwall has declined. I'm trying to keep track of the NA players only, will be too many to keep track of otherwise.

It seems to be real quite about Zibbys injury, so it is hard to gauge if he is available or not. Would love him on the team though.

Perhaps MÃ¥rts has finally come to the realization that Persson is no longer WC material?

Makes sense. I hope he gets to. It'd be another good experience for him and I think he's a special player especially on the bigger ice due to his vision and smarts.
 
Elias is has not yet been moved to Charlotte. I am not all that familiar with the specific rules but could it be that he is not eligible to play in the Calder Cup?

If he plays and Charlotte by some miracle make it into the playoffs then OKC will not make it and there we have Anton Lander and Oscar Klefbom. Lander has been amazing in the AHL this year and Klefbom played really well during his last call up to EDM. Both worthy of a call imo.

So now it's official that Charlotte misses the playoffs, MÃ¥rts should really give Lindholm a call. I definitely think he would improve the squad as it stands now and I don't think we will get enough 'yes' from players eliminated in the first round to knock him off

Does anybody now the status of Zibby? Would really like to see him get a shot in the NT

Might be hindered by the AHL playoffs. Lindholm is now out of the playoffs, both Stanley and Calder.
