Thörnberg had a standing spot but declined, there's no official word on the other guys but don't think they were invited.

Sweden is adding Nyquist, Järnkrok, Gustafsson and Erixon to the EHT team and will probably keep 3-4 spots open for NHLers.

Not a team filled with stars exactly. Wouldnt suprise me if the still could sniff at a bronze or something like that, Sweden usually play solid team play.

I think if you enter the team after the tournament has started you should really be a major boost to the team and not a minor improvement. I think only Brodin and Lundqvist fits that bill. Lundqvist will almost certainly decline, but I'm hoping for Brodin.

I would also be ok with Hagelin, Eriksson or Söderberg if any of them are intrested (Hagelin maybe, the other two not so much). But I don't think Silfverberg, Lindholm and Strålman are enough of an improvement to be invited at this late stage.

It's easier to whine about feeling this and that, than just flat out say "I dont care about Tre Kronor and some second rate tournament, in some scruffy Soviet republic, I want to play golf".

Unknown, the offical word from Team Sweden mangement is just that he declined due to injury, bur as Tomas W said that is probably just code word for do not want. I mean I don't doubt that pretty much all players are batteling some minor injury, but cmon its three weeks between the end of the regular seaaon and the start of the tournament, you're telling us you couldn't heal up duting that time if you really wanted to play?

Going to an O'learys will probably be a safe bet. If the game you want to see is televised but not on their schedule just ask them and most of the time they can show it on one screen for you.

Probably several, the sports bars usually have a sign at the door on which games they plan to show. Obviously it's usually Swedens games. Perhaps Finlands games is often showed too. The Swiss games less so, I would imagen.

If its empty or nobody watching you could probably ask the staff to turn channel to the hockey, if they are showing, lets say a football game.

Safest bet is O'learys as said by Coffe, but there is others too.

Yes, but there is at least two O'Leary's there. One more cozy and one more, well, big and regal i think. I really enjoyed the cozy one which are i believe in or somewhere close to Old Town. They had some stage-looking piedestal thing where it felt almost like sitting in arena stands, well in position to discuss the game at hand with other beer-cans which was also very nice to do. You can meet people from all over the world there, great fun.

At Least Two of the players listed as injured are legit injured Landeskog and Lack. Lack was invited but is injured and Landeskog has some hand injury i am not sure about the others.

He was probably told to sit back as Vancouver got some major changes going on. I have a hard time seeing he is injured as he was so happy to participate at first, after the final game.
