Jagr could play 97 games this season if the Czech Republic get to the WHC Final or Bronze Medal game.
 
Sekáč is injured. I hope it's not serious and he will be able to make WC. He had fantastic season.

I think in the 1st match our team will be something like this:

team with Hertl :)

Rolinek - Cervenka - Jagr
Hudler - Kovar Jan - Hertl
Petruzalek - Sobotka - Klepis

Kindl - Sevc
Mojzis - Zamorsky

- Cervenka is useless without Jagr in NT - so he'll play in the 1st line (but I don't like it :) )
- I would definitely like to see Kovar - Hertl combo (our best passer Kovar with Hertl's speed? this could be very nice)
- I like our defence (nice mix of young and experienced guys) :)
- goalies are best possible :)

- overall view? ... not bad team (from possible players) ... but best thing is coach Ruzicka (with Spacek as assistent) :nod: ... I'd say our players always need ex-player as head coach - results from history confirm this :)

Hmm.. I don't like this team that much to be honest. I would definately give chance young guys like Buchtele or Nosek over Klepis or Kaspar. Wouldn't be afraid of it at all.. we need energy. Also, not a big fan of Mojzis

I would rahter see something like this.

Kovar - Hudler - Jagr
Cervenka - Sobotka - Hertl
Nosek - Novotny - Petruzalek
Buchtele - Kousal - Rolinek
Gulas

Polak - Nemec
Kindl - Sevc

I'd like to take "young guns" too ... but Ruzicka won't do it for world championship

that team wasn't my team, but team of players who (I think) will be chosen by coach. we will see if it's good or bad :)

Oh, OK then.. :)

Although I think Ruzicka will take them, at least some of them.. I guess it will be kinda mix of your written roster and my written roster :)

If I had a chance :) ... I'd like to have this line (atleast for this EHT tournament in Sweden) :) Pastrnak - Vrana Jakub - Kase Ondrej ... and next season in some macthes I'd try Kämpf - Zacha - Simon :)
 
I don't think Polak and Nemec will be together, they both play RD.

I still don't believe Hertl will come, but Červenka-Sob combo could be great. Just like they were during lockout.
Speaking about young guns - Nosek and Zámorský definitely should be there, I would take Krejčík too.

There is an article about U18 guys http://www.hokej.cz/cz/mladez/uspech-osmnactky-je-uzasny-ocenuje-ruzicka-prvni-reprezentace-chysta-na-leto-kempy-pro-mlade-hrace/ So I hope they will get a chance next season:)
 
Looks like Ruzicka, Kaspar and Lukas Kovar will be healthy scratches tomorrow. Jan Kovar should start in the net.

I'm not sure, the coach said two weeks ago he's on his list but it doesn't look like there has been much development since then. At this point of time, it's obvious he won't play at the Worlds as there's not much time left and he isn't even in the camp.

I think Hertl will play with Jan Kovar ... :) there will be Cervenka or Rolinek with Jagr :)
