Looks great. I just don't understand why we had to destroy our best line (Hertl, Sobotka, Jágr).

As for Kovar, hard to blame him with only limited icetime (11:38, 3rd lowest after Zatovic (11:19) and Petruzalek (7:08)). But he has to step up next year in EHT.

mixing line up is Ruzicka style when he is not so satisfied with team chemistry.

Zaťovič - Hudler - Sekáč line looks goood... on the other hand, I did not like Jan Kovář at all so far.

I'm okay with mixing lines when they don't work, but that wasn't the case of our first line.

yeah, got it. We'll see. on the other hand Novotny looks too good to be in third and Cervenka can't really score in second. So it's still questionable...

I'm glad Růžička changed the lines. For some reason, Hertl with Jágr wasn't working. A few good shifts here and there but they often had troubles gaining possession (which is crucial for any line with Jágr) and defensively, they were not exactly convincing either. Not overly impressed by Hertl tbh, I liked him a lot more last year even though he had zero points at the whole tournament while this year he's already at five. Maybe he's still not 100% after his injury (and diarrhea), or he's now more used to the direct and simple North American game and has troubles adjusting. Or maybe he just needs to be on a different line and return on the right wing.

Poor Lukáš Kovář, busts his ass to get to Minsk and in the end Růžička gets the last roster spot. Seems strange when defence has been lacking. Mostly too bad they had to give up on Krejčí coming.

He should switch Hertl with Sekac or somebody else then. No reason to split up Sobotka and Jágr. I mean Novotný with Jágr looks fine in theory, but it's the third wheel (Cervenka) I'm worried about. And it's not like Cervenka is defensive specialist .

Yes, we should be really happy that we made it to semifinals and this game with Finland clearly showed it.

Czechs and Slovaks should reunited in icehockey )
