Lodnia with 5 points this weekend, including the OT winner tonight.

Beckman's got 1G 1A going into the 3rd tonight. Currently in 2nd in points per game in the WHL and pushing hard for the overall lead.

Edit: Not gonna lie, going by this clip Lodnia's got one of the goofiest looking skating strides I've ever seen.

Yeah it looked like he was getting like no power from his stride

Beckman adds the game-winning goal. Now tied for 3rd in WHL scoring (still 2nd by PPG).

I'm not going to say anything about what will happen in the long run but man the early returns from both 2018 and 2019 first rounders are just mindbogglingly bad. Like you'd expect a first rounder go back and start making noise after getting drafted high but it's just the total opposite in two consecutive years. Almost feels like that's hard to do. Usually most even mediocre prospects fall on their face later in their career, not right out of the gates.
