And added a goal. Kid's putting up the same numbers as Cozens on what looks like a substantially worse team.Beckman with 2 assists through 2 periods

Add in that beckman is a pretty young prospect for the draft. Obviously CHL production doesn’t always translate, but I can’t remember the last time we’ve had this many non-firstRnd prospects to be excited about. And added a goal. He's playing a new position? I hope you're being sarcastic.Boldy had 17 points in 17 games against college opponents last year. He shouldn’t need time to adjust.
If that position changes him from a ppg player at a level to a one point player at the same level, he doesn’t play that positionHe's playing a new position? I hope you're being sarcastic.
Or, you give him time to adjust to the position change, because these things don't always happen overnight? If that position changes him from a ppg player at a level to a one point player at the same level, he doesn’t play that position
Look at who his line mates wereBoldy had 17 points in 17 games against college opponents last year. He shouldn’t need time to adjust.

Is this guy our clear #3 prospect at this point?Khovanov with 2 goals tonight and probably some assists but they weren’t updating on apples.

Agreed, but it's close (and mostly uninformed).Just looking at the stats, I'm a little more impressed with what Hentges is doing right now.
Looks like it was 2+2. And somehow didn't get a starKhovanov with 2 goals tonight and probably some assists but they weren’t updating on apples.

Anyone want to take a shot at explaining the misconduct that Khovanov got on that scoresheet? I think that I figured everything out except the part about "an altercation does not ensue"Looks like it was 2+2. And somehow didn't get a star

Half of the goalies in that league are under .900. That's crazy. If the Wild could petition their way into the Q, they could finally have league average goaltending.Yeah but the goalie who gave up 6 goals on 57 shots (.895 sv%) got the third star. Go figure. But the guys sv% this season so far is .880, so good for him for having an above average game.
I don’t know if that’s clear. I mean I’m no scout, but I think beckman, Firstov and hentges have to be in there. Maybe one of the goalies. I like khovanov but I just stat watch the CHL for the most part. He looks brilliant in his highlight clips, but again, take it with a grain of salt.Is this guy our clear #3 prospect at this point?
I know Sam really well, and he is something else. He shot up so quick, from his junior year in highschool to now, He’s improved so much and so quickly. I don’t know what his ceiling is but I’ll tell you two years ago I never thought he’d be where he is now. Nobody works harder or deserves it more. I try not to speak to his game though as I have a bit of bias in his favor.Probably not a fair comparison, but I get a tiny bit of deja vu with Hentges: speedy skater and a good shooter, played high school hockey in Minnesota then spent a year in the USHL and was drafted in the 7th round. Moved on to a Division 1 school in Minnesota, where he had modest freshman numbers but was over a point-per-game as a sophomore. Currently has 8 goals and 3 assists in Carolina.
