Looks like the 3rd line to me. Divver never lists them 1-4. I am sure the team loves that. I doubt anyone else does.

I always start with, let's see what he does in the playoffs
But realistically, Merkulov has nothing left to prove in the AHL, he's got that rare line driver + incredible shot combination going for him, he's made enough progress defensively that I don't see him as a liability anymore
I think he's got 2nd line Center upside
