A ECHL vet, will lead Maine in scoring.

Well not really an ECHL vet. He is the same age as Lysell, but did play ECHL last year. He did have a good rookie tournament.

Looks like he decided to go back home to Czechia as he wasn't making progress to the AHL level this year.. Providence released him from his contract over the weekend

What do you think of those lines? It seems to me, outside the 4th line maybe, that here is some mis-matched styles and skillsets. But I don't know enough to say that with confidence.
I like the 1st line
Second line seems a bit unbalanced, 2 workaholics slotted with the talent
3rd line I'd have Harrison with Farinacci
We'll see how they do

Prov played well enough to win but Hershey's goalie made a number of big saves.
Lysell set up some good scoring chances.
Merkulov has been the biggest disappointment of the season so far. He started last year slow as well so hopefully he snaps out of it soon.

Sounds like Merkulov has checked out.
He has 4 assists, or does that even matter!
He has been involved in 4 of the 12 goals the team as scored and all assists are on the team's first goal of each game.
I know assists are just part of a players game, but it shows he is engaged in the game.

How many points does Lysell have now? 2 in six games? 1 goal? Yeah, he should be called up.

Joona Koppanen - who played for Boston's farm team for a long time in Providence, said in an interview with a Finnish newspaper that "compared to Providence, his new AHL team has much better facilities for training".

Of course, that was just his opinion, but it's an important point, because training is an important part of development. The kind of development we fans are hoping for. The development that the organisation also wants.

Providence Bruins practice rink is usually Providence College though in the past it's also been the 146 rink which is an absolute dump
P Bruins biggest draw after the City itself was that after 90% of the games you're able to sleep in your own bed, huge positive with guys with families
