Providence could be a more interesting team to watch than Boston, if Merkulov and Lysell are starting to hit their stride and Poitras is added to the mix.

What did you expect? He’s not a sniper. 3 is ok for now, as long as he’s playing to his strength.
I would expect some goal production. I believe he is known for having NHL calibre wrist shot and some scoring ability/touch. It is his 3rd? Year in Providence so you hope for increased production. Year isn’t over but.

It's his second year. He had 10 goals and 10 assists his first year in 70 games, so you would like to see a step up from that, but it hasn't occurred yet.

Duran is the one who is in his first year, and that has gotten off to a slow start as well

It's not impossible to see Lysell-Poitras-Jones as a Boston line (assuming they develop, connect and Jones gets his game back).

Some good news for Pbruins and bruins.
