The statistical analysis that he performs to create content is great.

The way is uses his "model" to make absolute determinations about players is trash.

Very good way to put it. He also seems to get very defensive when asked about outliers to his model, as if his is the best out there.

The more content we have to discuss the better though.

100%. I don't think he's being talked about enough. Him playing top pairing in the KHL at 19 is a big deal. And the guy is a monster out there, he's only listed at 6'4 but plays like he's 8 feet tall. Just a bull amongst sheep. I really hope he comes over next year.
I'm not sure that he'll be playing top pairing. He hasn't yet in the pre-season games from the box scores I've seen. He was only getting a couple of minutes and a few of the games he didn't even play.

He's also not listed on the Dynamo Moscow roster page any longer. Not exactly sure what's going on with that. Although their site is difficult to navigate as it runs a bit slow for me and not everything auto translates.

Thanks for this info, didn't know. Do you have any link to that Dynamo page? Everything I had from flash/sofa scores only has last season/no preseason. That's just what I'd read personally, but stats sheets don't lie.

I was digging around the KHL site looking for the pre-season games and they appear to be gone now or at least I was unable to find them. They were there when I looked last week which is how I knew what Novikovs playtime was.

In 24/25, four 2nd lines, order them however you want. So, twelve top 6 forwards. It was a trick question.

Peterka - Krebs - Savoie
Kulich - Cozens - Tuch
Skinner - Mittelstadt - Quinn
Asplund - Thompson - Olofsson

I think by then, we're going to see one or two quantity for quality trades to get some more top line talent. A reverse Eichel trade.

1999 and 2005 were both four 2nd line teams.😁

On sabres.com it is the third line down on my phone and on the right side on my laptop.

The link is where sabres.com took me. 🤷‍♂️

Thank you however I couldn't find tickets for sale via sabres.com and concerned the tickets link you provided isn't reliable?

Anyone care to take a guess at the lines for the tourney ? Also where are we getting goalies from if ours are ncaa bound?

This is a timely topic with people talking about how guys like Kisakov & Rosen need to put on weight.

Don't know how up to date they are, but kisakov and Robertson are listed at a 25 pound difference.

Kisakov playing at 150 lbs does not seem like an option, but I would guess some weight gain will come naturally

I think that's a big part of the gaining weight issue. For a player that's 175 pounds it may not really be necessary. Kisakov at 150 pounds when he was drafted however would have been the lightest player in the NHL. There aren't a ton of players in the NHL below 170 pounds (20 - 30 I think) and even fewer below 160. I think under 160 you can count the players who fit that on 1 hand.

This reminds me of when Ruff and Co. begged Myers to put on weight after his outstanding rookie season. Dude looked like Babmi on skates for the first half of the next season because his body was so foreign to him.

That's the first thing I thought of too. Myers never looked the same after getting jacked. The added muscle mass to his thighs messed up his stride/agility.
