Guttman to be the next in Tampa's constant waves of small, fast, chippy bastards in Syracuse? I can see it.
 
Denver was both good and lucky. They deserved that game.

I don't know about the rest of you, but, after nearly 3 decades of watching this tournament, I think this is the best crop of goalies I've ever seen compete.

Agreed on the goalies - it's like all of them are just absolute gems.

Denver had a strong game and made their chances. But it could've gone either way.

And the Mavericks score with 16 seconds left to go up 1-0 on Notre Dame. Wow.

Mavs can skate, ND can lay the hits and are opportunistic. Intriguing matchup fo' sho'.

To expound on the goalies; all but 2 games have been a 1 goal victory so far. This is what gives fans indigestion when they watch the games.

Gophers vs. Broncos in a few minutes... still marvelling at how Huglen did all sorts of things on both the GTG and GWG in the OT win by UM the other night. While I disagree with how Botterill moved around to get the kid, that guy is someone who I can't wait to see next year and going forward.
 
Knies blocks an Attard shot and is hobbling off. Now getting attended to on the bench. Could be a big loss for Minny if he can't return.
 
The Knies-Meyers-Huglen line is back. Ryan with a great chance in the slot and then Knies finishes another play (from Faber pinching) on that shift to make it 1-0.

My voice to text does not like these names.

I don't remember this -- context? Did we trade up?

He looks like a great college player. Hopefully he can explode offensively in his sophomore year. Would be nice if he could play with someone like Cooley.

They traded up for both him and Cederqvist when there were indications both would be available when the Sabres picked. They used four late selections to take two players.

Edit - it was 102 for 122 and 175 where they picked Huglen at 102.
Edit - and it was 177 and 191 to get Cederqvist at 143... he was an OA.

Gotcha. Yeah it's one of the things where if it works out you look like a genius. At least Huglen has some potential by the looks of it.
