Power going full powerforward in front, cleans out the defenseman and then Kent Johnson makes it 4-1.

Johnson's -3 for the night and was on for the PPGA. I haven't really found any of those to be as a result of him. His partner put one in their net on one of them.

Phone died, but going back in time, I would have responded to all of these. I’m not sure Huglen’s miss is on him. Meyers handcuffed him a bit. Really liked the fight in that Gophers team. Really wish Knies was a Sabres prospect. I don’t see a star player in Owen Power at all. Not even the makings of one. I see a good NHL defenseman. Sabres fans are going to be really disappointed in him. Edit: But they shouldn’t be. He’s going to be good, just probably not great.

Yeah, Power is going to be eaten up by the expectations of people who have never watched him play.

Looks like OSU is out with the Harvard win. If Bemidji wins, then Levi Watch is on because Northeastern would be out too.

Huglen is going to be very good next year with Minny. Good story with him being back from the back injury. Just wish I didn't hate how Botts maneuvered to land him as much as I did/do. Still really like the player though, he doesn't have any stain on him even with being a Big Head pick.

I'm wondering how much that effects Northeastern's chances of getting in.

OSU looks like they're out and if Bemidji wins, NU is out.

Ah I see. I was looking at the USCHO website and they had NU ranked 10 and UMASS Lowell at 13 going into the semis (where they both lost). I also knew NU had the HE regular season trophy and a better overall record, so I just didn't understand why UMASS Lowell was considered in and they weren't. But reading that article I see why now and NU did have a 1-2 record against them this year. Whelp pulling for Minn St. here now I guess.

I am just praying that this time next year we are all laughing at the blackpills on Power in the same way we do all the ones on Tage.

So the good news is that Kevyn Adams is absolutely correct about needing to find a RD partner for Owen Power next year. But, my god, it is disheartening how correct he is.

Just stop with the Power nonsense. Same people eating their hat over Dahlin, Tage, Jack Quinn, and so on. Kid will be very good but he will need time to develop like the others.

Power needs a good mentor and a safe time in the NHL.
