Finns are very shaky, their own teamgame is more or less, lost. 2 goals in 2nd, wich are somewhat lucky, both. No matter, I accept them as they are.

But in 5on5 play, finns are beein' blown off the ice. They're so lost. Let's just hope they don't start the usual finnish "this way we will definately lose the game", playing safety.

I agree, nothing is over by any means. A lot can change in 20 minutes. I hope this means a far more potent and effective American offense, more discipline by the Americans, and DiPietro turning into a wall for the next 20 to get the win.

S. Koivu often seems to be a little bit too fired-up in these "big games", I think Jokinen's line has definitely been our best line so far in this game. I respect Saku's attitude and hunger to win but he's sometimes like a firecracker ready to blow and that's hurting his overall play.

Shaky? teamgame lost? We can't be watching the same game. This finnish team knows exactly what they're doing, no matter garbage goals or not.

The finnish TV-commentary Antero Mertaranta is probably the biggest homer of them all and like he says himself, he has "Magic glasses" on when he's commentating. I think that is one explanation why there is so much bickering about the refereeing.

As I said earlier Mertaranta has an obvious bias against nort american teams. He has claimed for over 10 years that Canadian refs favour team USA and refs from USA favour team Canada. I quess some people have started to belive such a bias exists.

Please don´t get offended, it is a result of 10 years of brainwashing.

The officiating has been a non issue in this game, the Americans have taken dumb penalties and paid for it, end of story.

Got to watch 2nd at my local pub. Sound was off, closed captioning was on. CC transcribes Ville Neiminen as "Billy Team Nin".

Why is Tkachuk's first instinct when he loses the puck to just start hooking wildly at whoever is around him? Worst...selection....ever.

That is the only chance for north american teams in this tournament. NHL ref's try make sure that Canada and Usa make it to medals.

Don't get paranoid about a Canadian calling a USA game. It's cool to hate the USA now. Canada included. Just look at the World Juniors. The Canadian crowd cheered for whoever the USA played.

Why is that everyone's always quick to dismiss something on the grounds of the nationality, "oh, you're just saying that because you're [insert here]"?
